December (1) Newsletter:
Events:
Coffee Morning: This Wednesday 7 December we have our Coffee Morning at Brixham Yacht Club 10 – Midday £3 on the Door, Raffle, Home-made cakes/jams, Christmas Cards & Calendars will be on sale.
Raffle & Cake donations always Welcome.
Membership Secretary, Anne Thorp will be on hand for those who wish to join or renew their Membership in cash, just £3 per annum. Make it easier for yourself and enquire about setting up a Standing Order in the future.
Annual Carol Concert: This Friday, 9 December we are holding our Carol Concert in All Saints Church starting at 7 p.m.
Guest performances by The Riviera Singers, Fishtown Ringers and the “famous” Wives and Girlfriends (WAGs) of the Crew. Lots of traditional Carols followed by Refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there.
Raffle: I mentioned a few months ago that Joan Gibbard is standing down as the Raffle organiser after quite a number of years. At that time, I asked if someone would be willing to take up the reins but so far no one has.
I probably need to make it clear that the organiser does not have to buy the prizes, we generally rely upon the generosity of Members to donate items, and to date that has been the case so please do continue to support the Raffle in that way. The Raffle probably brings in over £1,000 each year in support of our Lifeboats.
However, like most roles in T.L.F. the Raffle organisation would benefit from having a small team of say, three people so, during the year, the monthly responsibility/workload can be shared around.
Please do speak to me if you feel you could contribute in this way, it is a vital part of our Fundraising.

As you can see this Newsletter is headed December (1) as we have more news to share with you but I just wanted to highlight the three items above, after an extremely busy week, personally, December (2) will soon be hitting your Inboxes/Letterboxes.
Kind Regards
Peter
