Both boats launched to assist recovery of casualty falling from height into the water. Coastguard helicopter and Air Ambulance both on scene very quickly as both in the vicinity. Casualty had some serious leg injuries and the ILB transferred him to Paignton Harbour where he was transferred to the Air Ambulance.
Launched to assist an 11m yacht stuck on the weather buoy off Torquay. The vessel was released by the ALB, then towed into Torquay harbour and handed over to the harbour and marina team who moored her up.
Launched following concerns for a swimmer wearing a black hat, possibly in difficulty. Despite a search by Coastguards and ILB, the only item found like the described casualty turn out to be a black Dan boy. Deemed a false alarm with good intent.
Launched assist a 29ft motor boat that was disabled approximately 1 mile SE of Thatcher Rock with two people on board. The vessel was towed back to Brixham marina and assisted onto her berth by the RNLI boarding vessel.
