TLF CHRISTMAS LUNCH MENU HERE .. follow the instructions!
First though our Annual Skittle match between the Lifeboat Crew and TLF Crew resulted in another victory for the Lifeboat Crew however, ………………..they HAD to have their Team propped up by at least 4 TLF supporters !!! I rest my case.
And our Bucket Collections on “Lifeboat Saturday” brought in a nice £515 so many thanks to all who made that possible.
As I write this, we will shortly tonight, be holding our Quiz Night at the Yacht Club in aid of the Lifeboats so many thanks to Barry Goldsmith for organising that and I am sure it will be a fun night.

Home-made Cakes (donations always welcome) and just £3 on the Door

Our final Cover the Flag for the season outside the LBS, hopefully Cathy & Hazel have recruited a full team of helpers but if not, please do sign up if asked.

Our very own Second Coxswain Richard “Greasy” Fowler will be entertaining us with his memories of “Life as a Trawlerman”. Just £5 on the Door. Food always available from 6 p.m. to book a meal just call the Bar on 01803 853332.
One piece of sad news is that Ken James one of our former DLAs passed away recently, Ken was on Launch Authority duty on that memorable night of the “Ice Prince” incident. His funeral will be held on Friday 24 October @ Stockman’s Chapel @ 1 p.m.
Anne and I are off for a bit of sun this weekend, but we’ll be back early November.
