Events: Three forthcoming Events during February:
7 Feb @ Brixham Rugby Club 2.30pm – 4.30pm somebody called Peter Thorp will be retracing his working days over (part) of a 46-year Up and Down career in the Fire & Rescue Service (more Downs than Ups!!). £5 entrance with Refreshments afterwards……… (if he gets to the end!!)
14 Feb our AGM @ 2.15pm in Brixham Rugby Club, a little earlier this year due to holiday bookings but nonetheless a very important time for us as we look back on another successful Fundraising year, I’ll say no more apart from Refreshments available after the AGM business is concluded.
21 Feb our next Coffee Morning, again at Brixham Rugby Club, £3 per person, Raffle and home-made cakes available. With the First Team of Noreen & Wendy away we will be “fielding” our First Reserves (Angela Osborne & Anne Thorp) serving the Refreshments. If any of you would like to offer yourselves to help the Refreshments Team in the future, we would love to hear from you, no long-term commitment, just an occasional “helping hand” for us to call on.
Stamps and foreign Coins:
A few months ago, we stopped accepting stamps and foreign coins for fundraising as we no longer had a contact to process them through the auction houses.

However we have learned that Rowcroft, the other local and worthwhile charity, is willing to accept both stamps and foreign coins at any of their shops across Torbay.
So whilst TLF may not benefit, we would encourage you to support Rowcroft with your stamps and foreign coins.
Box Collectors:
Another of our Fundraising strong points, however, such is the success of these through the generosity of the public that we really would appreciate more collectors. If you can help, wherever in the Torbay area, please contact me and I will put you in touch with the local area representative.
