UPDATE: The mission was successful and had some dramas but more importantly the mission was a success not in the given time but sponsors have been most generous.

In keeping with Royal Mail’s efforts to raise money for national and community-based organisation’s that require additional funding. A team of 10 walkers and a support driver from Torquay & Newton Abbot and Dawlish delivery offices tackled the National Three Peaks, in aid of (RNLI) Torbay Lifeboat Crew Of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution!
Starting with Ben Nevis on Monday 25th April @ 1200hrs (STC) and hopefully finished off Mount Snowden Tuesday 26th April 24ish hours later this is subject to Ice/Snow conditions on top of Ben Nevis.
The three highest peaks being Ben Nevis Scotland, Scafell Pike Lake District, Mount Snowden Wales, the object all along has been to aim for a 24 period as previously said however snow and sheet ice conditions look set to take its toll so to complete in a timely and safe manner will have to do.
The Team Consisted of: Natalie Dipper (Newton Abbot), Richard Pascoe (Dawlish), Dan Booker (Torquay/Newton Abbot/Teignmouth), Jane Hilton (Torquay), Ruth Kingston (Torquay), Guy James (Torquay), Lee H (Torquay), Matthew Muscott (Torquay), Lee Muscott (Newton Abbot), Wayne Leaver (Torquay), Andy Collins (Dawlish)
