They also elected to climb Ben Nevis on their last day in Scotland.

Next up was the third challenge which involved the swimmers.

They all safely completed their Kilimanjaro challenge to swim over 20 kms around Tor Bay and actually landed ahead of schedule!

Our intrepid cyclists completed round two of the Challenge over the last week of June.

They rode across the Isles of Scotland, learning the true meaning of ‘saddle-sore’ in the process!

All nine members of RNLI Torbay station safely completed the first Kilimanjaro Challenge on Sunday May 22nd

They meat-bombed at 15,000 feet, freefell 10,000 feet for 60 seconds, opened canopies and swooped gracefully through the final 5,000 feet to the DZ at Dunkeswell airfield, to much applause from well-wishers, friends and family.
