Launched at request of the Coast Guard to a 64’ Motor Yacht with st’bd engine failure leading to a fire in the engine room with three persons on board, in a position 3.5nm SSW of Dartmouth Castle .. 0.5nm from Bell Buoy.
On arrival, the fire had been extinguished by the crew of the Motor Yacht.
Dartmouth Atlantic Class lifeboat was also in attendance assisting a tow.
ALB took over and brought the Motor Yacht back into Dartmouth where she was berthed on the town quay. All her crew were safe.
