Launched in response to a Mayday call from a yacht that was taking on water eight miles east of Berry Head.
On arrival a lifeboat crewman was put aboard the vessel to assess the situation, he stayed aboard the casualty and hand pumped the water from the yacht whilst the ALB escorted it back safely to Brixham.
