Launched to a reported Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) signal 1.5 miles east of Roundham head.
The related PLB or vessel was not on any automatic identification system (AIS).
Search started but could not track PLB ( no signal)
Coastguards contacted boat owner who confirmed the vessel plus PLB were alongside in Brixham harbour.
Assumed signal was set off in error.
