Launched to assist a 15ft boat with two persons on board which had set off a red flare and had gone aground on rocks near Thatcher Rock, Torquay.
On arrival the two persons had managed to get safely ashore, the ILB picked up the people and transported them to Torquay harbour where they were met by Coastguards.
Their boat was left on the rocks as it was deemed too dangerous to safely retrieve it.
