Launched to Redgate Beach where a 52 year old person had fallen onto the beach.
The Lifeboat collected the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and two Coastguards at the Carey Arms and then landed them and some of the crew at Redgate beach using the Y-boat.
They recovered the casualty and personnel safely and then landed the casualty and extra personnel in Torquay.
Strong winds and a wet evening made the operation more challenging.
Wind speed gusted to 60mph around the Lead-stone.
