Launched to assist with the evacuation of a 25 year old female who had sustained an ankle injury on the South West coast path just north of Churston Cove.
Coastguard Rescue Team we’re on scene with an ambulance enroute.
On arrival at the cove, two crew members went ashore to help the Coastguard Rescue Team take the casualty to Churston golf course, the least hazardous option, where the ambulance met them.
Crew returned to the ILB and back to the station.
