Both boats launched following a request from Falmouth Coastguard asking if we could re-task the ILB to assist with an on going incident on Berry Head.
The incident was to stand off this side of Berry Head as there was a dangerous armed male, now thought to be with knives etc, not fire arms, who was threatening self harm and possibly harm to others.
The decision was made to allow the ILB to proceed and to launch the ALB to be on scene.
We changed crew on the ILB at 19.20.
Both boats stood down at 21.09 as the male was arrested by police .
