Launched to assist two persons called in to Falmouth Coastguard an off duty crew member who was out on the water.
Persons were attempting to climb the cliff half way along the Southern Part of the main Fort at Berry Head.
The inflatable they had been in was a small cheap inflatable.
One person stayed at the bottom of the cliff/slope as instructed, to wait for ILB as the climb was dangerous.
The other was near the top and our ILB guided the Coastguard to him.
Both persons were on holiday and were aged between 40 and 50.
The ILB took the one back to Ladybird Beach between Breakwater Beach and Shoalstone Pool .
The inflatable was hauled up the cliff slope but did not survive the journey.
The two men were reunited with their families at the beach.
