Whilst standing by for shout 17, HM Coastguard called and stated another 999 call was coming in from a RIB off Beacon Beach in front of the Imperial Hotel with a person onboard having a medical emergency.
Nobody else onboard was able to drive the RIB so the ALB responded and transferred the casualty to an ambulance at Beacon Quay.
One Crewman stayed onboard and took the RIB to Torquay Marina.
