Launched to assist a Brixham fishing vessel whose skipper had a suspected medical condition.
Lifeboat on scene and transferred lifeboat crew Doctor and retired paramedic on board trawler to assess the casualty.
He was then transferred to the ALB.
Coastguard Helicopter 187 from St Athen on scene at 00.45 then winched the casualty up to Helicopter.
They then took the casualty to Exeter for transfer to hospital.
