Launched to assist a 9mtr yacht with engine trouble off Thatchers Point, three POB (persons on board) drifting close to rocks.
After further conversation with the Coastguard in which it asked if the crew could sail out of danger or put all the anchor down it was then confirmed it was a power boat.
On scene at 17.55 it came apparent it was a 18ft Bayliner Boat.
Casualty was towed into Torquay and all was OK.
