Whilst transferring casualties in Torquay Harbour (shout #30), Solent Coastguard requested assistance with a report of an inflatable dinghy off Preston Beach with three persons (believed to be one adult & two children, with no buoyancy aids), in difficulty.
ALB immediately departed Torquay for that location but at 1520, as the ALB was approaching the location, Solent Coastguard advised them that the dinghy with all three persons was ashore/safe so the ALB was stood down.
ALB returned to Brixham, re-fuelled and back ready for service.
