Returning from shout #42, Solent Coastguard called in again, directing the ALB across to Torquay where a paddle boarder was reported to be in difficulty.
A search was made, but no one found. Solent Coastguard then spoke to a person matching the reported casualty’s description who told them that he frequently swam away from his board.
Again no assistance was given.
ALB returned to station at 5:55pm.
