Shout from Solent Coastguard for an immediate launch of our D-Class In shore Lifeboat (ILB) to assist Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) attending to a reported distressed non-swimmer in the water on the north side of Goodrington sands.
At 11.02pm, CRT informed us the casualty was safely out of the water and our crew were stood down.
ILB arrived back at station 11.20pm and was made ready for service by 11.28pm.
