Tasked to assist an ambulance team evacuate a vulnerable male adult from Churston Cove.
An air ambulance helicopter was unable to reach the casualty, so it was decided to medi-vac the the gentleman via our in-shore Lifeboat (ILB), with a paramedic onboard and in attendance, to the slipway by Brixham Yacht Club.
The casualty was brought ashore at 2.00pm and handed over to waiting ambulance.
ILB crew arrived back at station 2.20pm and back on service by 2.35pm
