Incident Date08-05-2023Launch Instruct09:45Lifeboat UsedILB Location of CasualtyPaignton Beach area. Launched following a report of a kite surfer in trouble off Paignton pier. On arrival he was found to be fine so the ILB escorted him to the beach safe and well and returned to station.

Launched to a person that had fallen on the south side of Berry Head.ILB landed two crew members who assessed the casualty while awaiting the arrival of the Coastguard rescue helicopter.The casualty was then air lifted to the helicopter and flown to hospital.

Directed the Coastguard to location and they recovered dog. It was not accessible to our crew as only 20 ft from top of the cliff.
