Launched at request of Solent Coastguard following several reports from public of seeing a red flare in the Princess Pier area, and requested both boats investigate.
Both boats conducted search of area from Livermead to Imperial Ledge, whilst Coastguard Rescue Team searched shoreline.
Excellent viisibility with a full moon & calm sea.
Nothing seen/found.
Both boats stood down at 2308
