Incident Date 20-02-2022 Launch Instruct 02:52 Lifeboat Used ILB Location of Casualty Torre Abbey Sands area. Launched following reports of a person that had entered the water a couple of times at Torre Abbey sands. On arrival the person was in the hands of the Coastguards and the ILB was stood down.

Incident Date 12-02-2022 Launch Instruct 17:00 Lifeboat Used ILB Location of Casualty Brixham area Launched to search the area from Brixham yacht club around to Fishcombe after clothing and a dry-bag where found on rocks. Nothing was discovered after the search and the crew were stood down.

Incident Date 12-02-2022 Launch Instruct 13:50 Lifeboat Used ALB Location of Casualty Lyme Bay area Launched to assist an 11 metre yacht that had broken steerage and was four miles east of Berry Head. The vessel was taken under tow to Brixham marina’s visitors pontoon with five persons onboard.

Incident Date 30-01-2022 Launch Instruct 16:25 Lifeboat Used ILB Location of Casualty Preston Beach area Launched to assist a broken down jet ski 200mtrs off Preston beach. On arrival a small angling boat was assisting, so the ILB escorted them back to Paignton harbour.

Incident Date 29-01-2022 Launch Instruct 10:08 Lifeboat Used ALB Location of Casualty Hopes Cove area Launched to investigate an AIS (Automatic Identification Systems) man overboard alert in Hopes Cove. Upon arrival at scene it was established that the alarm had been inadvertently activated by a diver in the water who was perfectly safe.
