ALB SHOUT 04: 06-05-2023

Incident Date06-05-2023Launch Instruct12:57Lifeboat UsedALB Location of CasualtyEnglish Channel area. Launched following a Mayday call from a 41 ft yacht taking part in a race around the Skerries.Water waist high through broken window in hull.Lifeboat attended, pumped out the vessel and then towed yacht back on to events pontoon.

ILB SHOUT 12: 02-05-2023

Incident Date02-05-2023Launch Instruct13:33Lifeboat UsedILB Location of CasualtyBerry Head area. Launched to a person that had fallen on the south side of Berry Head.ILB landed two crew members who assessed the casualty while awaiting the arrival of the Coastguard rescue helicopter.The casualty was then air lifted to the helicopter and flown to hospital.

Incident Date22-04-2023Launch Instruct15:25Lifeboat UsedALB Location of CasualtyGoodrington area. Launched to assist Coastguard with a search for a young person at risk, last seen at Goodrington. ALB taken out due to better search capability.Searched coastline between Saltern Cove and Livermead.  Person eventually located in Exeter.

Incident Date18-04-2023Launch Instruct07:50Lifeboat UsedILB Location of CasualtySaltern Cove, Goodrington. Launched for a dog that had gone through the hedge and over the cliff. Directed the Coastguard to location and they recovered dog. It was not accessible to our crew as only 20 ft from top of the cliff.
